Of course, it’s undesirable for a business computer or network to go down for any reason, or at any time, when running a business. Uni-Tech is here to help you protect your company’s network and data from catastrophe with a variety of commercial services. While some issues are only mildly irritating, such as web searches being redirected, other problems can be completely devastating, like when the hard drive dies and your accounting information and customer database are lost! Don’t worry though! Uni-Tech offers preventative services as well as diagnostic services, and even services that you could call a safety net such as remote data backups. Computers are essential to businesses of all sizes, however, few businesses can afford an in-house IT department to manage the technical and network needs of the company. For a fraction of a technician’s salary, Uni-Tech can be your company’s IT department. Maintenance Contract customers receive priority on-site or remote service any time it is needed, as well as regular monthly maintenance to prevent issues from occurring in the first place. System Maintenance includes the installation of anti-malware software. ESET Smart Security is the recommended anti-virus to protect a computer from future threats. The purchase of a one-year subscription to ESET Smart Security is optional and extends the 30-day warranty to 90-days. System Maintenance starts at $125.
If a computer’s system files are corrupted and it becomes necessary to reinstall the operating system, the charge starts at $100 and includes the installation of anti-malware software. If there is data on the computer that must be backed up, there will be an additional $15 charge for labor. ESET Smart Security is the recommended anti-virus to protect a computer from future threats. The purchase of a one-year subscription to ESET Smart Security is optional and extends the 30-day warranty to 90-days.
All desktop parts and some laptop parts can be replaced or upgraded individually. The prices for these parts vary greatly depending on the type and brand of the part that is being replaced. The minimum labor charge for installing hardware is $55. All new hardware purchased from Uni-Tech is warrantied for one year from the date of purchase.
Service Calls are available for our customers’ convenience or when the problem requires that repairs be made on-site. A field technician will be sent to the customer’s location to repair the computer or network problem. If the repair cannot be completed on-site, the technician will bring the computer to our shop for servicing and will deliver it back to the customer when the repair is complete. Service call fees and labor rates apply. Service call fees start at $40 for addresses in a 30 mile radius and labor rates start at $65 for a half hour.
